Iranian Parliament Speaker to visit Việt Nam this week

HÀ NỘI — Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani will pay an official visit to Việt Nam from Thursday to Sunday at the invitation of National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân, the NA’s External Relations Co妹妹ittee announced yesterday.

Việt Nam and Iran set up diplomatic ties on August  四,  一 九 七 三. In recent years political, economic, trade, cultural, educational, scientific and technological ties have expanded.

In  二0 一 五, two-way trade between the two countries reached US$ 一0 七 million, with Việt Nam’s exports accounting for  七 二 per cent. — VNS
